The food at Literati 2 is composed of locally-sourced, sound, and mostly organic produce, found at the local farmers markets in Los Angeles. Chef Chris Kidder, is inspired by seasonal produce to develop dishes that allow the natural ingredients to shine and stimulate your senses. Kidder’s vast knowledge and experience in the kitchen, working with some of the most well-respected chefs, translates into culinary artwork with the theme of healthful practices. With sustainability as a main priority at Literati 2, we are consciously aware of the comprehensive outcomes of our actions in our kitchen. At the heart of our culinary philosophy is a strong set of values that exercise a parallel care and respect for the ecosystem and for the people within. We cherish community and by creating partnerships with local farmers, we are not only delivering incredibly fresh and delicious produce but we are also supporting the people who put so much sweat into organically growing their crops.

Skyline Farms, owned by Dr. Stephan Hagopian, delivers a wide array of organic food including cage-free eggs, Pakistani mulberries and sulfide-free wine. The Coleman family, at the Santa Monica Farmers Market, provides us with butter lettuce, dandelion greens, and various organic vegetables. Our meat comes from Niman Ranch and its family of farmers who raise livestock traditionally, humanely and sustainably to deliver the finest tasting meat in the world.

In the end, Literati 2 seeks to provide the most delectable and enjoyable dining experience for our customers by leaving only a gentle ecological footprint that will ensure the quality of life for our future generations. And we believe you will taste the difference.
